The Nittany Lion Inn is a beautiful historic facility. The restaurants are fantastic. The staff is amazing!! A must stay if you are visiting PSU!

It was a very beautiful hotel. It had the old world charm that was noticeable as soon as you arrived. The grounds were beautiful. The staff was outstanding. They were always friendly and willing to help. The room was large and very nicely decorated and had plenty of storage. The bathroom had an extra large shower and very nice soap products. There was a parking garage around the corner from the front entrance. The hotel is within walking distance to town. We had a very nice stay.

Let me preface by saying this is coming from someone who has no attachments to Penn state. I wanted to like this hotel. It looked absolutely beautiful on line and it had historical value. I wanted to Like this hotel. I was left with just okay experience. Between the confusing info given for parking and the questioning of cleanliness, it all just left a weird experience

Overall disappointed! You either had to pay for valet parking or parking in the garage down the street. The service at the front desk was always very slow and overall not very friendly. Also, the cafe served very weak coffee, got the order completely wrong, and forgot an item…this happened twice. Hotel is beautiful on the inside; however, it doesn’t live up to the hype.
