We started out on a real bad note. I choose this hotel over another that was $50/night cheaper because this one had a pool. When we got there we saw the sign “Due to unforeseen circumstances the pool is closed.” I was hoping the hotel itself would make up for that disappointment, but it didn’t. It was okay - the beds weren’t awful, but they weren’t comfy either. The furniture was fine. The tv kept changing on its own, which I figured out was someone in the next room trying to use their remote. If I ever come back to Penn State, I will probably look elsewhere.

They advertise a pool and hot tub but tols us it was indefinitely closed and they did not update the website. The kids working the front desk were snarky and rude. Room was old but clean.

Staff saves the night!

We accidentally spilled a cup of hot chocolate on a bed and room service was there in less than 5 minutes to save the day with all new bedding! Clean, friendly staff, and quiet.

Our stay was quick. The shuttle was very reliable and efficient. The pool wasn’t available which was disheartening for our son and the family/friends that came with us. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time as we planned for a hotel with a pool.
