Honey I'm Home! ;-)

It was in away like coming home. I went to GSU back in the late 70's and about 5 yrs ago I helped renovate this establishment. I was impressed with it when we finished and was just as impressed during this stay.

Pathetic! They doubled the rate because it was family weekend at the college. Fine, I get that. Our tv didn’t work. Front desk just said sorry. The ice machines didn’t work either. So basically, this hotel decided to take advantage of parents who simply wanted to see their college student. The same parents who already pay tuition. Classy, right??? $400 a night for a bed, shower, and NO basic amenities.

Trash cans overflowing outside, parking lot needs repaving. Bathroom, saw mold around sink, ceiling in shower area needs fixing. Morning staff was clearly stressed and showed it with limited interaction. She is the face of the company and feel bad but was not engaging felt like I imposed for a receipt.

We only stayed for the night and the bed was comfy, the room was over all clean and had a kureg machine which I thought was nice! I wouldn’t say it was luxurious but honestly a great place for the price! I did see some homeless across the street at the gas station but that could be anywhere so not too sure of the area.
