Quaint yet updated lobby etc. Buffet breakfast was excellent and front desk service was beyond helpful. Room was clean and big enough. Only downside was housecleaning service. It’s different than most:. You must request service and then they often don’t make beds and missed us altogether one day.

The hotel was beautiful. We love staying in ‘historic’ hotels. Everything was top notch with exception of the name. Realized this was the ‘Stonewall Jackson’. Historic hotel in downtown. History should not be erased. Why change the ‘historic’ name of a ‘historic’ hotel.

This property is within easy walking distance to much of downtown Staunton. It's a beautiful old building that has been restored and is a unique historic hotel that welcomes you in. The staff was helpful and the room was quiet and comfortable.
