Perfectly placed for a flying visit to meet family. A budget hotel with a big hotel feel. Great access from railway station. Staff were lovely as was the breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Beds were not configured for our requirements so they had to move us. No parking at hotel which wasn’t made clear until after payment. Had to pay and pre book a slot at the local supermarket which is only a 6-7 minute walk away but not ideal with young children, lots of bags and late arrival.

OK but no air conditioning

Please be aware that the AIR CONDITIONING DOES NOT WORK - and apparently it hasn't worked for 3 years so don't expect it to be fixed any time soon. You will receive an email advising of this before arriving but that is of no use if on a non-refundable booking. The room will have a fan but if it is hot this is similar to the concept of a fan-assisted oven. Rooms at the back of the hotel are also noisy. Other than that, the hotel is well-located and staff very efficient and friendly.

Awful experience wouldn’t recommend for families

Very poor experience rooms were very hot with no Aircon working which they had signs up as soon as we got into main reception telling us they was broken. Also the car park facilities is absolutely shocking. Nowhere to park and strange individuals lurking around at night

Excellent hotel

Hotel was ideally located , very clean and welcoming hotel. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and had everything you needed. The staff were exceptional and the breakfast was superb ..really couldnt fault anything at rgis hotel .

It was convenient for what I needed to stay for, the staff were nice. A few things in the room didn’t work such as the desk lamp (which I needed as I was working from my room) a usb slot next to the bed was not working properly and there was no plug sockets near the bed or chair to charge phones, also under the bed there was food debris from whoever stayed before me. It can be noisy if you have the window open, and at least twice a day there are people stood below the window smoking weed and it drifts up and stinks. Can’t fault the staff, they work really hard, from the reception staff to the cleaners. Bed was a little to firm for my liking leaving me with aches and pains but the that’s just preference I think. Some non slip mats in the shower would be useful too as it can be really slippy in there (as I found out!)
