Check-in was slow, he said the system was down. Only one elevator was working. The water was off for part of the evening, but came back on. Then no hot water in the morning. The reasons why I didn't review our stay lower overall was because the property is well kept considering it's a college town and those are hard to come by. Price is competitive, location is good to OSU campus, the rooms, bedding and bathroom were all clean - the breakfast offers sufficient selections. We've stayed here before, so we are hoping the water mishap was just a rare situation.

This place was okay but I expected much better given the rating and cost. I arrived after an 8 hr drive to discover that I had not been given a first floor room after I called the previous day and confirmed one was available and I could have it. I had my dog, who hates elevators, and that was lots of fun dragging him up and down from the second floor. I liked that they had a doggy station but it was out of bags and when I asked the front desk to replenish them, they said they would, but then didn't. I had to go back and ask again. The room was huge but the layout was terrible. The bed was on one end of the room and the couch on the other. In the middle was a big desk that had a TV with a stand. Each time I wanted to watch the TV on the bed or on the couch, I had to turn the heavy TV around to face the other direction. It wasn't the worst place I ever stayed, but I highly doubt I'll stay there again.

Was not offered anything for being a Hilton member, was not allowed to check in 25 minutes before 3, had a certain kind of black ‘hair’ in the shower before we took a shower, we had no shampoo in the ‘bottle attached to the wall’, check in person was a little rude, when we did get checked in and got to our room, we had absolutely no view! It was of the ‘awning’ of the drive up by the door. I have a pic. And an internet wall outlet plate did not cover the bigger hole! And the rug inside the front door says ‘Making You Makes Us Happy. We were not happy!! Will find a different place to stay next time.

Got put next to the elevator and feared it would be loud, but it was not! Rooms are pretty simplistically designed but clean and comfortable. Lobby and breakfast were nice. Quick drive to campus. Staff was nice. I forgot my clothes when I left. They didn’t call because since I booked through a 3rd party site they supposedly “didn’t have my personal info.” So, they put my clothes in the lost and found and are holding them for me to pick up (easier than mailing though they offered). Good stay but nothing super cool or exciting - but if you checked out the pics or reviews, you probably expect as much.
