Do Not Stay Here! Stood around in the run down lobby for over 30 min waiting to check in. I was already having second thoughts, but thought it was too late to change my mind, didn’t think I’d get my money back. Finally the really slow clerk (who kept disappearing for 15 min at a time) got to me. He assured me my room would have a fridge, but it did not. He was able to bring one up though. I got to the room and saw the door had been smashed open in the past and now the door jam was bent and didn’t actually close all the way. The manager didn’t have any other rooms, but kept saying the door was safe, yeah right! The room itself was “clean”, but it had the strongest most toxic cleaning sent, like I was inside a chemical plant. It was not bearable. In addition to the beat down door, it was just old and shabby inside, visible wires above the bathroom vanity, chipped and burned counters, just total yuck. The neighborhood did not feel safe. The smell was intolerable. After lying in the bed crying for 20 min, I decided I’d rather sleep in my car (in a safer location) than this hotel, and I was packed up and out in 3 min. Couldn’t find anything else, so I did sleep in my car. Worst night ever. Do Not stay at this place!
