Rooms are nice but it is not being kept up. Lights out, hvac light not working, elevator lights and doors questionable ice makers don't even have electricity It appears to attract a clientele I don't want to meet- I will not go back

The 0-star is for both this La Quinta place and hotels.com. This location is more of a local community living place rather than a hotel. There were people in and out of the small parking lot in cars and on foot. There were semi's and RVs in the lot with doors open. All hotel rooms were faced out to the lot, and some room doors were left open. We felt unsafe just sitting in the car at 9pm. We did not check-in, but did inquire the front desk on the cancellation process. When hotels.com were contacted they neither helped us getting an alternate hotel, nor refund us on this La Quinta hotel. We had to book and pay another hotel through a different vendor. Hotels.com lured us into booking this hotel with false advertising, and then kept our money knowing we were unable to stay at the hotel due to safety risk and concern. It's a scam. We will not use hotels.com again.

I had really high hopes for this hotel, we've stayed in the hotel on the other side of the fwy (literally a 2 min drive)& didnt think it would be much different. Boy were we wrong, I could see why the price was cheaper, but from the moment we pulled up, people were smoking (even though there were signs all around that said it was a smoke free property). Our room was on the 2nd floor & the elevator was out of service. The worst part was the people staying there, im not sure if people live there but it was so noisy, i get it during the day, but im talking about 1 and 2am. i always travel with my noise machine to drown out any noises, well my machine wasnt loud enough to drown out the loudness outside. People kept walking by, yelling, kids running past our door & as we stayed on the 2nd foor, we could hear kids runing on the3rd floor. Good thing we only stayed 2 nights, but we were ready to leave on the 1st night. Then to make matters worst, both mornings that we were there we walked past our neighboring room where there were boxes (at least 3 boxes of 36 count) of beer that had been consumed. When we got to our car, there was an empty bottle of water on the hood, which led me to believe that people were partying it up around my car and made me feel uneasy about parking on the premises. The gentleman that checked us is was super sweet. The room didnt have carpet, which we liked, but the restroom could use some upgrades. I would NOT stay here again even if its cheaper.

The grounds look much cleaner than the last time we were here. The toliet seat needs to replaced. The seat is wobbly. The drains in the sink & bathtub drain slowly. Had to pull out globs of hair in both sink & bathtub. Our previous stay same thing. We were informed that we can no longer stay at this establishment due to our dogs. It was stated that our room smelled like urine the last time we stayed here. Find it hard to believe cause we wipe down all surfaces with hospital grade cleaners. We are at a loss as to what the problem is. The explanation given doesn’t add up. If there are certain requirements for clean up it should be stated in the hotels policy. If our room smelled urine then how come all the rooms in this establishment smell of smoke. Urine smell is a lot easier to clean up than the smell of smoke.

Horrible hotel! Due not stay with kids. Hotel rooms wreak smoke and skunk smell. People live there and do drugs in the walk ways. Filthy! Went down for breakfast and was told nothing was left however still over an hour left of time. Luckily a restaurant is right next to it so we went there. Also website shows a weight room and there is not one

My room was gross and dirty. It’s clear there hasn’t been any up-keeping done. The parking lot had trash and transient people loitering around. I will never come back. The only positive thing I can say is the front desk employees were pleasant.
