Nice property. Newly updated. no Rooms are a bit dim and could use more natural lighting (yellow lights). The owner was super nice and funny and extremely responsive and helpful when we had issues. Main complaint is the noise. The walls are paper thin. And when there's a lot of other people staying it's all you can hear. The last night we stayed there was a train honking it's horn for hours on end and the walls were so thin it almost sounded like the window was open. Over all, for the price, the property is clean and new and it's probably the best you can find in the area for the price. But the noise issue might prevent me from coming back in the future. If you're a very heavy sleeper, this is the hotel for you!

I spent the weekend there with my 14 year old son and things started off great. We stayed on the top floor and were confident we’d have no issues getting a good night’s rest for an early tournament. However, at 5am on a Saturday morning, a garbage truck arrived and emptied all of the hotel’s garbage bins. Needless to say, this was extremely noisy and woke us up too early in the morning. The next day, we decided to go for a walk to the city center for dinner at around 5:30pm, which was only 5min away. On the way there we passed by several homeless people, some were in the midsts of lighting a fire in the middle of the town center to keep themselves warm. It felt like we were in the middle of a getto. Later that same evening we headed back to the hotel and ended up seeing a ”domestic” dispute playing out at a hotel room next to the elevator with the door open, which had escalated to the point where two adults were screaming and cursing at each other. From the brief comments they were making to each other, it was obvious the dispute was related to prostitution. I felt terrible that my son had to witness this and that I had picked this hotel for our stay. Retrospect, I should have chosen a hotel in a more family friendly neighborhood.
