The staff was friendly. Location was good. However the pillows smelled like they hadn’t been changed and they use old comforters that they can’t wash and have stains which truly give the feeling that the beds are dirty. Plenty of other cute inns nearby that I would try in lieu of here. I decided of all the different stops on a trip I would splurge here and it is definitely overpriced and not worth the money. See attached photos of comforter. I would encourage the staff to go to duvets with sheets to provide great cleanliness. The property was built in 1833 and I love the charm but it isn’t kept up in a clean manner. Multiple spiders outside the room above the chairs on patio. I would not return here regardless of how friendly staff is. Next time I would try the Stowe village inn

This property is comfortable and has everything you need for a lovely stay. The shower was hot with a strong flow. I didn’t find the pillows very comfortable however that is personal preference. It’s in a great location, around a 30 minute walk to North Conways main group of bars and restaurants. The staff were great, giving lots of advice on things to do in the local area. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Love that this is a historic hotel. Initially we did have a hard time finding the check in desk and our room. It's next door to a cafe where we had a yummy breakfast. It's located on the main street near quaint shops etc. We ate in the hotel restaurant and had a lovely dinner.

Wonderful service at Green Mountain Inn

Everything was excellent. Big shout out for Rye at Reception and Josie in Whip Bar & Grill who went out of their way to ensure a great stay for us. I gave 4 stars for Condition because the room we were allotted required us to take two lots of stairs and the corridor smelt a bit musty, possibly because it was close to the pool. We are both in our late 70s and perhaps we should have asked for a room which did not require us to navigate stairs with two bags etc. In all other respects we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the friendly service of all staff was outstanding.

We had a small issue with our room so we were given an upgrade. The room was amazing! Very spacious, comfortable, well appointed, quiet. We had most of our meals at the hotel, all of which were fantastic! All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly & welcoming. Erik at the registration desk was absolutely great! He handled our room change & was a wealth of information on the area. The hotel was the highlight of our visit to Stowe. Will definitely stay there whenever we return to the area. Truly amazing!!

Trip through New England

Was a really quint , clean hotel on Main Street Stowe, VT. Room was clean. Loved the decor especially the four poster bed which was comfortable, pillows were comfortable. Bathroom was small but clean. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Liked the afternoon tea and cookies . Quiet, safe area in the heart of downtown Stowe, VT. Lots of parking for the cars, but had to walk a long way so had to consolidate what we took in for the night, and once you parked if you left and went exploring you may have to walk even further to get to the door of the hotel.
