The air conditioning did not work in the middle of the night, and there was no way to open a window. We prefer the beautiful summer air of Vermont and could not enjoy it.

The location was fantastic for our agenda. The staff was excellent but that was the best. Broken ice machine and had to go to front desk and ask for ice so that was limiting, broken tv they were aware of but couldn’t be bothered to fix, main light in our room also didn’t work. The bathroom was size of a pea and not enough room to put one man bag even. The outside was not well maintained with weeds everywhere in the gravel drive and flowerbeds were overgrown. Pool outside wasn’t vacuumed so with no prose of ownership for this inn we would never stay there again.

Great stay, accessible

Great location! Has a nice, large green space on site and is immediately off of the jogging path. Just under a mile walk to some restaurants, shops and breweries. Having a porch/balcony was also a huge plus. Overall a great property, just a bit dated.

You will never see me again giving full 5 star review ever again. When i drive up there its look farm side but Stowe itself was beautiful and hotel was extremely clean and staff was friendly. Pool looked clean and its had a good gym. I didn’t had time to try their lunch but its has to be good as hotel itself.

Overall it was good. We went there for getting a hot tub to end up a day, but the hottub was actually pretty nasty. We got to the pool at 9am when it opened, there were bubbles floating on the top of water and some random toys in the tub. They should be cleaned every day.

Nice stay in Stowe

Very nice big clean room, and the staff was friendly. Granted, this was the off season, but there were a few improvements that I'd like to see. The shower was not working well (one head worked, one did not), and the door lock mechanism felt like it was going to fall off. Indoor pool and hot tub were not available when we would have liked to use it (they do have a nice outdoor pool as well).

Family Getaway at the Grey Fox Inn!

We had such a great stay at the Grey Fox Inn! The location was perfect for our family trip. It was close enough to enjoy visits to Ben & Jerry’s and the Shelburne Museum, while also being right in the heart of Stowe with plenty of great local spots to eat and explore. Our kids especially loved the indoor pool, it was a great way to relax after busy days of sightseeing. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was incredibly courteous and helpful throughout our stay. From check-in to check-out, everything felt easy and welcoming.

It was my first visit to Stowe; I was there for a family wedding at another location. The room was comfortable and provided all that I needed. I would have enjoyed having decaf coffee available in the room as there was only regular. I took the Trapp Family History tour just up the road and can highly recommend it! Lots to see and do within short distances. A great weekend!

Fantastic place to stay. Friendly staff. Large and beautiful room with a fireplace and comfortable beds. View of mountains from windows and patio. Room has a coffee pot but no food available from hotel. Restaurant next door has limited hours but other dining options are close. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
