Von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort offers 96 air-conditioned accommodations with coffee/tea makers and bathrobes. Cable television is provided.

Bathrooms include complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Business-friendly amenities include desks and phones; free local calls are provided (restrictions may apply). Beautiful and Iconic Place

We fell in love with Vermont! This hotel was high on my bucket list as a life long Von Trapp/ Sound of Music fan. The resort is itself is so cute, well maintained, amazing views and has tons of things to do. We went on the historical tour and got to meet Kristina Von Trapp, the granddaughter of the Captain and Maria (definitely the highlight of our trip). We definitely plan on returning.

The buffet breakfast is quite nice. The place is full of “Sound of Music” lore. The wine tasting (Wednesdays and Saturdays) is well done and comes with five wine, cheese, crackers, and fruit. Don’t miss the “history” lecture with a trip to the family graveyard. Really enjoyed the entire stay.
