Traditional hotel with quirks
Lovely traditional hotel…curling rink fab & great to sit in the alpine bar and watch it… Was last here 6 years sgo, games room still here which is great for families but could do with a wee upgrade , small soft-play area maybe handy and a few more family friendly games & change of seating & tables.. Rooms very spacious but lacking in modernisation same with bathroom's, very dated, however clean and tidy and nice view of loch ryan from our room… Breakfast was great, served to us in a lovely dining room..we helped ourselves to toast, juice and cereal…staff friendly and professional… Loads of carparking at front side and back The Ross bar is nicely decorated with plenty of tables and couches & chatty bar staff, actually loads of seating all around the hotel… Will be back and hopefully sooner than 6 years..need to try the pool next time…

Amazing food. Lovely service. Great pool and jacuzzi comfy beds. Only thing i can say is maybe tge rooms need a re-vamp. Its quite dated. Still beautiful stay

Hotel is lovely and rooms clean and basic for standard room. Food in restaurant was lovely however the breakfast on both days was terrible. Probably would not go back but only due to the terrible breakfast

Friendly staff, very accommodating for our requests. Instant hot water was an absolute bonus for us. Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool, sauna, hot tub, gym and games room facilities are old but well equipped and in working order. Lovely art gallery and shop inside. We would absolutely return here 😄 only downfall was the room we were in didn't have a safety deposit box, which would have been helpful.
