From start to finish, this was a perfect place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is central, you can walk everywhere. The room was rustic with pretty wood beams and very spacious, and the bathroom was modern and well appointed. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great location, close to everything. Very nice facility. Room was very spacious and modern. We loved the high ceilings and the chandelier in the room. We liked the courtyard where we could sit and have our coffee in the morning. It was great having an elevator in the hotel after a long day of walking around. What sets this property apart is the EXCELLENT staff including the front desk, bar, and valet parking staff. They made us feel at home and went out of their way to help us with restaurant recommendations and directions around town. I felt bad that we didn't learn as much French as we would have liked as our trip was a last minute decision but we were very happy that the staff were all fluent in English and helped us out with our language difficulties. We had a great stay and are looking forward to future trips to Strasbourg and plan to stay at the same place.

Hotel & Spa Le Bouclier D'Or was the perfect hotel for our stay in Strasbourg. The room was very spacious and luxurious. The windows opened up to the beautiful street below and allowed for a nice breeze in the morning The rooms were attended to every day. our room had a very nice Hairdryer, which was super convenient since I did not have one. The staff were very kind and attentive, and even went out of their way to mail postcards for me The concierge also made reservations ahead of time for us for a local restaurant I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again It is a short walk from the train station and a 30 minute train ride to Colmar for an exciting day trip.

We loved our stay! The hotel is right in the heart of La Petite France, walking distance to all the major attractions. We enjoyed the beautiful courtyard outside the hotel, the friendly service, the fabulous spa-like bathroom, and our wonderful massages in the hotel spa. I would highly recommend this hotel!

This is such a charming property within walking distance of many eateries and shopping areas. We had a wonderful stay - the staff was super friendly and offered to keep our bags stored both before check-in and after check-out while we explored the surrounding area.

It is a beautiful, old-world yet comfortable hotel. The rooms are large with great air conditioning and large bathrooms. Dining and shopping options are a short walk away, as is the cathedral. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if I were fortunate enough to return to Strasbourg

The staff were impeccable and friendly! They welcome you back every night and eager to help in any way. I wanted a drink a little later than I think they were open…very nice gentleman turned the lights on and got a drink for my wife and I before bed. It’s small with only 22 rooms and that’s one of the things we loved about it. We would return!

The property was absolutely beautiful and was located within the heart of the city near plenty of dining, shopping and things to do. That said, there is no parking on site and it's a 7 minute walk from the nearest parking garage, which is ~$50 Euros a day. They advertise a valet service but we weren't sure of how to drive up to the property.
