The room was a bit smaller than expected but was fine. The restaurant was very good - loved the prime rib and the breakfasts. The staff we came in contact with were nice. Tne location was great and very walkable. Parking was easy. Might have been helpful to know about the shuttle service but as mentioned the location was great - we walked everywhere including to the Festival Theatre. Did a side trip to St Jacob’s and the farmers market there - well worth the trip and it was fascinating to see the horses and buggies in use. We would happily stay at the Parlour Inn again. Note: on performance nights you need to make dinner reservations anywhere in Stratford in advance.

Great Inn, mediocre dining...
The accommodations were very nice. The hotel staff were professional.The restaurant experience was mediocre at best. My wife's flat iron steak was overcooked, my tagliatelle was swimming in creme sauce to the extent of overwhelming the veg in the dish. When we commented to our server, the response was, "thats too bad". I agree! No effort was made to make our dining experience better. We would stay in The Parlour again. Stratford has some of the finest dining and chefs in the country. Dine elsewhere.

The guy at the desk said they painted in the spring. However, you can clearly smell a “freshly painted” odor on the second floor. Also, the jetted tub only had one of the jets working. Carried some desert up from the restaurant Monday evening. After I was finished, I put the glass outside the door. When we left Wednesday morning, the dirty glass was still there.

Great little hotel walking distance to everything in Stratford. Each room is different. I would stay again. Nice that the hotel has free parking.

Older historic building but all the same felt clean. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Free coffee in the lobby was a nice touch as the in-room coffee wasn't the best. Our room was on the 2nd floor without a view but it was spacious and clean. The bathroom was large and felt clean, free shampoo, conditioner, body wash and moisturizer was wonderful. The proximity to downtown was amazing, you are literally in the core and within walking distance to the theatres, restaurants, and shops. Free parking felt safe and a great spot to leave the car for a few days.

It was kept in oldy wordly type of property. All the staff did their best to help,and successfully . It was a strange feeling walkin in th bedroom because of the slanting floor. We loved our stay there.

It was fun to stay in a renovated historic property and one so close to the facilities in town and walking distance to one of the theatres and across the road from a great chocolate shop. Lots of free parking in the back/side of the building. Wow, free bottled water in the room and leaving was a really nice treat. The coffee maker in the room was expresso so was odd, I probably should have had the regular coffee in the lobby. Glad there was an elevator. Beds were comfy and more electrical plugs in the room than I've seen in most places I've stayed! Bath was a jetted tub and shower. My friend unfortunately slipped in the tub having a shower but thankfully wasn't hurt. So a better grip on the tub bottom would be good as it's pretty slick. Overall I would definitely stay here again in future.
