Great hotel
Had to wait at reception as person walked away from desk without acknowledging me. Was then dealt with next available person. Very courteous and offered me a choice of ground floor or upstairs room. Given a nice quiet room overlooking the inner gardens. Told me everything I needed to know about my stay. Just a shame as I told him I pre booked table in Pierre Bistrot that he didn’t mention guests get 10% off their bill. I didn’t see the poster until we returned from the theatre later that night!! Our 3rd stay, great hotel and excellent location for the RSC. Although busy, we did get parked in car park which now costs £8 per night.

Enjoyable stay, really pleased with the hotel, easy check in/out, comfy beds and very clean. Did have to report that the shower was a bit on the cool side, otherwise superb!

Great location for central Stratford-upon-Avon - close to everything. Deluxe rooms are large, with a seating area so worth booking one of those if you like some extra space. Enjoyed food and drink in The Bear pub which is within the Swan's Nest building, as is the Bistrot Pierre. Handy to have these as onsite options service was friendly and well-organised. Swan's Nest is a traditional hotel in some ways eg decor but in a good way - it means there are trained staff always on hand if needed, room tidied/beds made every day, tea/coffee in the room biscuits...

I was fined for parking in the hotel car park even though I thought I or reception had registered my car on arrival. I was fined £60 after appealing and providing clear evidence that I was a guest at the hotel. So this ended up being a very expensive overnight stay. If you stay here you must get some evidence that you have registered your car for the car park. This hotel is well situated for Stratford but the state of the rooms and decor was disappointing given the cost.
