The hotel was pretty much as described in other reviews. It’s an older motel but actively updated and appears to be family run, everyone we encountered were lovely and very attentive. We had a minor issue with our reservation because of an error I made and the gentleman at the front desk took care of it easily and we were checked-in in about 5 minutes. The shower in the room is really neat, though at my slightly below average stature the back massager blasted me right in the face much to my wife’s amusement. The bed is firmer than I cared for but comfortable enough. All told it was a a fine stay for a fare price. And of the multiple hotels in the area where it’s definitely on my approved for a second stay list. My only complaint was that the listing stated breakfast was included and the breakfast area was closed up when we checked out at 8am.

Sweet Family-Owned Motel

I enjoyed the helpfulness of this family-owned Motel. They were very friendly and the gardens were beautiful. It is small and not fancy but I felt good during my stay there!

The best thing about this property was the management, they went above and beyond to insure that we had a parking spot near our room, an extra chair and assistance with the air conditioner/heater. Beyond that we wouldn’t consider staying at this hotel again. The first impression was the sloppy paint job on the doors then the dingy looking coverlet, thin towels, bad fitting toilet seat that slipped when you sat, outlets so loose that plugs fell right out as well the lingering smell of smoke in a non smoking room. These things may not matter to everyone but we mention them because we would have gone elsewhere if we had been told what to expect.
