We really loved the history of the hotel. We knew someone who went to school at the school where the hotel built the property. They kept the structure from the past and updated it with elegance. The staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful.

Upon arriving at the property we were disappointed the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The next day we came back to our room to find ants everywhere including in one of the beds. When I called the front desk to ask about being moved to a clean room they moved us to a room with one bed and two roll away beds (original room was 2 queens). We never received any service for clean towels during our stay. The facilities were dirty. I would not recommend this hotel.

Only stayed here one night while visiting family in the area. So we only got to interact with the very nice young lady at check in and the also very nice lady at check out. Both went very smoothly. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

Stayed just for one night with the family on a road trip, but will definitely be back. Great pool, Gym, game area with pool tables, darts and other games all well maintained. Breakfast Buffet was reasonably priced and quality was great. All around an excellent experience.

I liked the historical aspects of it but to be honest the scientific community at the hotel was a bit off putting felt like a disease conference. The rooms were sub par compared to a Holliday inn tbh. Outdated. Security was very sketchy. Very. But to be honest the worst part was charging 21 dollars for one person to eat breakfast when every other place in the country it’s included. Wouldn’t go back.

The hotel itself was beautiful and clean and the staff were amazing. The bartender (sorry that I don’t remember her name) made the most delicious rum and juice drink I’ve ever had. The immediate area around the hotel is less impressive, but we never felt unsafe.
