No rooms in hotel

When we go in hotel they have no room available because they give all room to Ukraine refugees. Why you or hotel don’t give us notice that we have no room available because we have a Convention in Messe Stuttgart near this hotel and we face a lot of difficulty because of this reason.

Could do better.

The hotel includes Airport in its name but is not at the airport. There is a shuttle bus which you would expect to be free but in fact charges €7 per journey per room!! A regular taxi is cheaper if you have a family taking two or more rooms. The hotel room had silverfish (insects) which got on the bed and in our belongings. We killed a couple bit some got away. The bed was hard and only had one flat pillow which made for an uncomfortable night’s sleep. I would not recommend this hotel to others because it is not conveniently near the airport, awkward to get to and not comfortable. The reception staff were ok.

You may not have AC in your room

A two night stay on our velo trip. Staff were kind and helpful, but the AC system was wonky from room to room, when we stayed. Had to switch rooms to get one with the AC working. Great breakfast!!

Hotel looks new. Sparkling clean. What I didn't like is the 7 euro charge for the hotel shuttle one way to and from the airport. This really should be included in the stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE in the summer. I read previous reviews on this hotel that stated that the a/c wasn't working but I assumed it would be fixed by the time we were there. Well it wasn't! The front desk clerk "guaranteed" our room a/c was working. So much for guarantees! And he said it was the only room with a/c. Since our room was right above the outside courtyard where people were smoking and drinking until after 1:00 a.m. we could not open the windows so suffered the whole night. It was bad enough to have no a/c but to have the clerk LIE made it even worse. We could have gone to another hotel but by the time we checked in and had dinner it was too late.

NO WORKING AIRCONDITIONER... VERY WARM ROOM!

Had one of my worst nights there as the air conditioner was not working and the room was so uncomfortably warm. When I complained, I was told to contact Hotel.com as I booked through them and not directly - a bizarre excuse given Hotel.comis an agentof theirs in sellingtheir service. The lady at the desk told me the air conditioner was not working and that they had offered a 30% discount on the fees (something I was neither told at the desk during check-in nor when booking was made through Hotel.Com). Her position was that Hotel.com is aware of this and should have notified me when booking. They asked me to open my room windows - something I wasn't expecting to do when I booked, as daylightcomes into the room very early, thus shorteningmy sleep time. In short, this inconvenience completely overshadowed all the pluses of the hotel. Very uncomfortably warm to stay in without the air conditioner.

A very nice hotel near the airport.

We are a small family of 3 and the Star Inn Wes perfect for our overnight stay. The people were great and the rooms comfortable. We explored the local town which was charming and had great food. By taxi the airport is 6 minutes away (€12)
