The downtown location was convenient for the business I had in Sudbury. However, there are a lot of vagrants and homeless people that were quite a nuisance. I did not feel safe outside the property.

No deposit return so upset
They require $350 deposit and upon checkout they didn’t return the deposit. They checked room before we left and accused us of havin cigarette burns on bedding when we don’t even smoke and floors were dirty so they kept the deposit. I highly do not recommend this place at all.

We had an absolutely amazing couple days, the staff were very helpful, vera was one of the best owners i have met. She made our stay more pleasurable, helped with finding locations and very welcoming.. highly recommend

Stayed 4 night, on second I spoke to front desk that house keeping hadn’t done me room not even fresh towels. Was told they would bring me fresh towel. Didn’t materialize. Morning of third day told front desk room needed freshing up. When I got back at 5pm bed had been made but still no towels. Went back front desk and I received towel. Not Bestwestern standards. I won’t stay there again. Even though I’m a loyal member.

I was surprised. Usually Best Western hotels are a safe bet. I travel quite often for work and whenever possible, I’ll select a Best Western because regardless of the area, they hold that standard. This wasn’t the case at this hotel.

Bed uncomfortable, woke up with aching back. The hotel smelled. Fire alarm in the middle of the night. Worst stay in a hotel ever. Did not supply sugar or creamer in the room the second morning. When asked for extra sugar the staff person gave only 2 packets. Could not get hot water out of the tap in the sink. Never again will I stay or recommend this place.

Our stay here was terrible. There is a tent city of drug addicts across the street beside the hotel parking lot. After checking in, we parked our SUV. My husband and I opened the trunk, and he returned to the driver's seat to get something. At that moment our daughter saw a woman resident of tent city round the corner of the building beside the lot and make a beeline for me. My back was turned. My husband returned to the back of our SUV looking behind me. I turned quickly and saw the woman turn around and walk away. She was so close I could have pushed her. She turned around when she saw my husband was there. I was almost mugged. The whole thing happened in less than 10 seconds. We had our guard up for the rest of the weekend. Then we went to our rooms (a friend was with us and had her own room). When we got to our room, the door was held open by the deadbolt. Our friend's room had two adjoining doors, one of which was a one-way door, meaning the occupant in the other room could open their door and walk into her room unimpeded. Both our rooms were dirty (unvacuumed in the corners, brown smears on the carpet, dark curly hairs on the bathroom counter). Our A/C did not work. The TV was shot to hell, the picture and sound were horrible. Neither room had towels when we got there and it took several calls to the front desk to have some delivered. We were there on a long weekend but if there had been rooms elsewhere, we would have changed hotels. This place is dirty and dangerous.

Accommodation was OK but essentials such as towels, face clothes were scarce and we had to track down staff to resupply. Used syringe was found between 3rd and 4th floor stairwell....upsetting! Staff were helpful in addressing these inefficiencies but room should have been properly equipped.
