This location in Summerside is very convenient to shopping, restaurants and the beach boardwalk. The room we had was definitely in need of some updating. We only had two chairs in the sitting area and the noise from the room above was quite loud.

The air conditioning wasn’t working. The hotel did a great job to go out and get fans for everybody, the opportunity was in communication to the hotel guests. Something should have been offered whether it be free breakfast or a reduced rate for the evening based on the 42° weather and no AC.

Too Hot

The staff was lovely. The room was HOT when we arrived as two very large windows had the drapes wide open and the sun beaming in with the air conditioner off. The AC was not sufficient to cool the room. They brought us two floor fans. If you advertise air conditioning, then it should work or they should move you to a room that the air conditioning is working in. We noted the place was for sale and once we left, it had a sold sign.

Terrible service

The staff at the front desk were great, the good service ends there. They do not provide maid service unless you are there more than three nights. Seems odd given the rates. I had a two night booking. The coffee station had one packet of coffee, 2 sugar packets, and 2 creamers. To me, that's enough for 1 cup. I went into the bar/lounge for a drink and some food. The service here was absolutely horrible. There were 2 servers and only one other table being used. I sat at the bar and the servers walked past my empty glass no fewer than 20 times. Then they both proceeded to sit down and focus on their phones for quite a while.

This hotel has not been kept up over the years. They lost air conditioning during our stay and it was unbearable. They don’t do daily housekeeping and you leave your towels in the hallway for new ones? Not worth the price.

Staff were friendly. Upon arrival the room was too hot 24.5C Reported to front desk and they gave us fans as maintenance was not available to correct the temperature until morning. During the night, water was leaking from bathroom ceiling and part of ceiling fell on the floor. In the morning, looking at the ceiling we discovered that the grill for the ac mounted on the wall was covered with black mold. In the morning when checking out, we asked for the manager regarding our concerns. We were told they were in a meeting. They took our contact info and told us the manager will call us. There has been no contact.

When we got there Expedia has overbooked the hotel. The manager took matters in hand and got us accommodations at another hotel. The second night we were back at our booked hotel. We were extremely grateful for his quick resolve to the problem. We would definitely stay there again

Our family of 4 came here for a little Summerside getaway and the hotel was perfect. Very clean and the staff were all so friendly. Staff at breakfast were so friendly and welcoming it was an amazing experience we will defiantly be back.
