Property is located in Summerside an hours drive from the airport.There is limited public transportation and it is advisable to get a rental because there is no public transportation from Charlottetown on the weekends if you want to see the sights and surrounding beaches.The property is clean offers free parking and employees were friendly.Furniture is dated but the free hot breakfast is nice

Staff were extremely friendly when we checked in and explained the amenities of the motel. The room was spacious, with a beautiful king sized bed. It had a large tub which was nice after a long day of travel. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety. Excellent coffee, and bread pudding!

Good view of the bay - our room was huge consisting of living room - bedroom and bath. Breakfast was good but plates needed to be heated otherwise your food cooled very quickly. The staff were very helpful and pleasant - especially at breakfast.

I always stay at the Loyalist when in Summerside for work. It's a beautiful spot. I wish the restaurant was open when I'm there, that would be convenient but I believe it opens up in June. Staff was friendly, room was clean. I would definitely stay again and again.

Our stay was very comfortable. The included breakfast offered many choices and was very good. The breakfast room staff were very attentive. Front desk staff were friendly and courteous, as were any of the housekeeping team that we encountered. The rooms are showing some wear and tear, and our room only had one side of the curtains with a blackout drape. The alarm clock went off at 6am our first morning and the next day the alarm was going off in a neighbouring room that was empty so I don’t think they check to make sure the alarms are off after a guest leaves. But it was a very comfortable stay in a welcoming environment, everything was clean and the staff were very good. The location is very easy to travel to and from, and it was walkable to downtown, the boardwalk and several shops and restaurants. We had a harbour view which was lovely.
