I had high hopes when booking this and was sadly disappointed. The hotel staff would not allow me to add my toddler to our room, asking that I book a seperate room for him. Obviously that was not an option and they wouldn't allow him to swim in the pool with us because he wasnt on the room (again which they wouldn't add him to). I ended up checking out after night 1 of a 5 night trip and having to find a different hotel that would allow my toddler to use all the amenities. After I had been checked out of the hotel for 2 days, my card on file was charged a "pet fee"... I called to ask why in the world I was charged a pet fee and was told "because there was an unknown occupant in the room".... referring to my toddler that I attempted to add to the room... Worst hotel experience I've ever had. I filed a formal complaint and also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

They live up to their name.
The exterior doors need some maintenance but the insides are well maintained, very clean, and modern. The amenities are all in very good working order and well kept especially the AC. Every room I've had is dry with no unpleasent odors.The staff is very curteous and quick to resolve any issue. The wi-fi/cable does tend to go out when a big storm rolls through, but it is not their infrastructure that is the problem. I have stayed at several hotels in the Sumter area for business and Quality Inn is by far the nicest and cleanest for those on a budget. I definitely recommend them and stay there often.

This hotel is close to everything, staff was super friendly!!...Especially Marie!...she made my stay here so very comfortable!!. The price is also very affordable. I highly recommend!!

This was and excellent stay. The staff are nice ,courteous, and attentive. Some members of the kitchen service staff may need sensitivity training regarding humans who don't speak English. There are a lot of what appear to be unfinished parking projects,pool was out of service, and remodeling. Again the stay was excellent. The.grots hand lumps. My grandmother would have love those grits but without the lumps.

I kept calling the front desk asking them to not send maid service, which they said was fine . but every morning at 9:30 they were knocking again to clean. There should be a do not disturb sign or the ability to opt out for maid service.

I was disappointed to see how much light (which means air, in and out) around the bottom and sides of the outside door. The handrails in the bathroom were rusty. The linens were all very nice and fresh. The staff was all very friendly. For breakfast we actually had someone take our order and bring us our food. She was very pleasant and outgoing. She explained to us why they went to the procedure they now have for breakfast.

Would not stay here again. Front desk was not accommodating to Expedia booking error. Room has bugs, more than half the lights were burnt, and several electrical outlets not functioning. Rooms in serious need of upgrade as well as front desk staff in serious need of customer service training. Glad our stay was for only one night but even once was too much. Overpriced and undervalued for the avaense of quality at this location. Do not recommend.
