Strong smell of Garam Masala

We chose the Grand Suite for a 4 day stay. The layout was ideal for our needs. Unfortunately the room had a strong smell of the cooking spice, Garam Masala. It was hard to get use to the smell, but we opened windows and made it work. The beds were clean and comfortable. The carpet needed a good cleaning and there was a rundown oversize chair that they squeezed into the bedroom that definitely needed to be retired. Otherwise, it was a very comfortable stay.

A nice place to stay at a reasonable price

This is our go to place to stay and it never disappoints, BUT the shower curtain rod was loose allowing the curtain to open at both ends.

Good value stay

This was a great place to stay while my husband and i were on a trip to visit lots of friends. The one bedroom king suite offered us everything we needed. Wendy, the manager was very kind and accomodating. The breakfast had a good variety of hot food. Good value stay.

This hotel is not for visiting people....

This hotel is not meant for visiting people. I was visiting friends that were already staying in the hotel. We arrived after 10:30 and were told that the doors remain closed at that time. The front desk charged me for parking without telling me. I have an issue with the communication. I should be told that i was being charged. My stay was ok with the exception that he also told me the wrong time for breakfast and afterwards the person at the front desk said that they would refund the parking and they never did. It wasn't even my car, it belonged to my friend who was already staying at the hotel long-term. Overall the condition of the hotel was fine but the its strange that the tv doesn't face the front of the bed.

Clean and comfortable.

Clean and comfortable. We were there one night but would work great for extended stay. Even had a dishwasher in our room. Full size refrigerator. Bed very comfortable. Affordable, too. Would definitely recommend. No hot food for breakfast. Had cold cereal, yogurt, muffins, bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs, coffee.

The included breakfast is the best continental breakfast I ever had. The only complaint I had is one of the staff at the reception desk who checked me in. She never smiles at any body, making me feel uneasy.

Recommend Sunnyvale Suite Hotel

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Comfortable room with full small kitchen. They also have a workout room and laundry room, both of which we used. We will stay again when convenient.

Great stay, very quiet during the holidays. Near 101 for great access north to SF ir south to SJ, Gilroy or Monterey.
