We were willing to try again.
Wanted to give this place another try. Had not been in years because prior management allowed dogs in the pool area and pool. Came to find a remodeled lobby and breakfast area and were told the breakfast had been slimmed down significantly from our last stay. Rooms where as we remembered, even the bed felt like the same mattress as before. We were unable to use the Jacuzzi in the evening as there were four adults with three children and a swim tube taking up the entire area. Others were disappointed as well. Children and screaming went well until 10:00 p.m. It was difficult to get in the breakfast line as there was a gentleman with a large dog standing in the middle of it. He then proceeded to take his breakfast and his dog out to the pool area past the makeshift sign that said no dogs allowed. We will not be back!

I really enjoyed my recent stay at the wild palms hotel however it lacks in two departments there is no bar which on a holiday for me is important and the second being the breakfast is very poor infact I went out for breakfast every day. All in all a very enjoyable week many thanks to some brilliant staff

Property was bright & Newly Remodeled. I liked the fitness room. I was the only one there! The bed was way to soft & gave me back pain. The shampoo was terrible! It smelled like men's cologne & when I asked at the front, that was the only option? Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, bacon & sausage. Do Not eat in any of those. Would be nice to have waffles, more fruit & other options.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had an issue on arrival as our bathroom had not been cleaned properly. Reception were quick to sort it out and from then on everything was fine. We had a large room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and the hotel swimming pool was lovely. Good access into central San Jose.

This is not a cute boutique hotel. Tour buses pull up to unload passengers and I could barely find a place to park. The room numbering is odd with the 6000 on the bottom and the 4000 on the top. We requested a bottom floor due to my daughter’s issues with stairs and a room with 2 beds downstairs was not available. The breakfast is ok with hard boiled eggs and bacon. This place is huge so I never saw the pool. The images on the site make it appear much smaller. The room was large with comfortable beds and pillows and good desk space. The staff are very nice.

The staff was courteous but I didn't know about the security deposit for the room for each day until I got there. You have to call to ask for housekeeping but other than that, everything was fine.

So, I booked this property solely on pictures of the pool/hot tub area for my wife When you pull up to the hotel, the parking lot is not that impressive, but once you enter the lobby, it is clean vibrant. Staff was polite. I booked a room that was Supposed to be Garden View, but we ended up with a 2nd story room with a view of a building roof. Room itself was nice and clean and had a comfortable bed. Pool area looked amazing, but by the time we settled in, it was a little late so we decided to just crash for the night and didn't get to use it. I will definitely bring the grandkids here next time we are heading to Santa Cruz. I'll just have to confirm which rooms are near pool. Breakfast in the morning was a little disappointing and I ended up ordering Denny's. Breakfast only had Bacon, toast, and Soft boiled eggs. Might of had a few more items, but it did not have many options. My Granddaughter would not be happy because she likes the places that have a make your own waffle station.
