This place was so dirty and run down it should be condemned. On day two they just brought new towels in and roughly tried to make the beds. That's it. No vacuuming, wiping down anything, or cleaning the bathroom sink, toilet or tub......Gross.

The first room we were assigned was dirty all over. Had a dirty washcloth hanging in the shower curtain. Wife took a shower and the tub would not drain. This was 10PM so they put us in a similar room. It too was dirty as well. The drain did drain but very slowly. The bed had no top sheet. We where so exhausted that we slept in it anyway. Left a note for housekeeping. Not only did they ignore the note, the left the bed in a shambles. They also left dirty wash cloths on the floor. There was a wedding at this place with guests in rooms around us. Lots of kids and adults running up and down the hallway until 1 am. at 12:30 I asked the people in the hallway if they could tone it down and the one gentleman told me that some of the adults were fighting. I know I should have called the front desk. Housekeeping (for our wing) was a couple of college looking guys. Not the ladies in the housekeeping uniforms. From what I can tell they did not vacuuming in any rooms (including ours). Nothing in the bathroom was cleaned. We only received 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. We will never stay there again.

Being on the harbor was nice and unique. Hotel lobby was clean and looked remodeled. Wish they would have put that money into remodeling the rest of the hotel. The rooms were very outdated, there were very young people as cleaners and you could tell by the way they acted things were not being cleaned. Our bathroom was very musty and sweaty smelling. There was hair all over the bathroom curtain and other stuff I didn't know. The room keys also do not work. We had to go to the front staff numerous times to have our keys re-scanned to work. Staff said it happens all the time because of the type of card. We are having our wedding in Superior next year and was hoping to have it at Barkers Island but until they remodel we can't ask our guests to stay at that hotel.

This hotel is in need of much updating. I expected much better for the price we paid. Bathroom ceiling had mold. No areas for gathering with our own beverages or snacks.

Hotel was outdated, room we stayed in was poorly cleaned, the ac was an old unit from 1970 trying to figure out how to work it we just opened the window, you had to use your access card just to get to the second floor rooms from the lobby, the room was dirty, mini fridge and microwave stacked on a table and the table was bowing down from the weight. Not great

One of the beds did not appear clean. I slept in a blanket I had in my car. The fridge/ freezer was wobbly, and the microwave had, maybe pizza, splattered around inside. Very disappointing. The building itself was very nice looking and staff were friendly. Very nice looking amenities in the building. Overall building and staff was good but our room was gross!
