For over $3,000USD for 5 nights, I was expecting a lot more. It’s currently under construction but everything took forever. We also always had ants in our room. We understand that it happens in tropical places (we lived in Hawaii for many years) but no matter what we did they wouldn’t go away. We didn’t keep food or drinks in the room either. We also didn’t have hot water for a day- problem for us since we were traveling with a baby. The staff is extremely friendly but the service is terrible. It would take 45+ minutes to get a drink from the patio bar only for it to arrive wrong. Don’t bother with condiments because by the time you get it, your food will be cold. There is very little to do/ see in Suva so I would skip it and stay in Nadi. Overall, I don’t think I’d stay at a Holiday Inn again.

Staff were very helpful, and extremely friendly. Special thank you to Mereoni M and Ben N. The bar could be a little better at service. I ordered cocktails and the person forgot us. I had to go back and remind the bar attendant after a good 15 minutes. The area at the time was not busy.

Lots of ample parking if needed, has multiple restaurants inside so you don't have to go far and room service is available. The outside bar and music if you just want to sit outside and watch the sunset is nice as well.

I stayed from the 4th to 18 March. During that time, I had an upset stomach for 2 days. I would like to acknowledge the help that Laisani gave me. When I told her I was unwell she recommended a pharmacy I go to, which I did, and I recovered quickly. She also interpreted a message I had received from the grand-daughter of my nanny who cared for me when I was born in Suva. I value the Holiday inn because of her care of one of the guests, me.
