Cool place
Good place to stay, dorm style for smaller rooms unless you have a suite. Close to everything you’d want to do in the area, there’s an awesome cafe right down the street called D3 that’s worth checking out.

Authentic Chinese, but not a good experience
The good part: Responsive staff and friendly with very limited English. Seemed to be run by a sweet family. Authentic Chinese experience. Great location near subway stop. Bad Part: The taxi driver could not find the place as it is down a small street and not well marked. No elevator, so had to carry our heavy luggage up 2 flights of stairs. The room was freezing the first night as the heater was not working well, and there was no heat in the room prior to our arrival on a cold January night. (We figured out how to work the heater on day 2). Hotel ran out of hot water for showers the next day. Repeatedly asked for clean towels, and they continued to bring 2 towels for 3 people. Single pane, drafty windows.

Great value, location and cute, cozy rooms.
This place is in a great location, next to the ancient town Pingjiang Road. There's actually a subway stop minutes from the hotel, Lindun Lu stop. I wish i knew that before coming though. I really liked the room I was in, very clean, nice wood floors for the bathroom and wifi is decent. This is great value for what they offer. I'd come back again.

Mauvais choix! Pas un hotel...
L'hotel est en fait en travaux qui risquent de ne jamais finir! Pas de services, chambre pas propre à l'arrivée, toujours pas nettoyée le lendemain, lits durs et peu confortables etc etc. Seul point positif est la proximité des lieux touristiques accessibles à pied.

Completely rundown place, couldn’t even find the entrance (the old entrance is looked by a chain), you walk through a kitchen to get to your rooms. First room unbearable, was moist and moldy, second room was a little better, but bed was a complete catastrophy ... neighborhood isn’t very nice either ... So just stayed the first night and preferred to pay another hotel instead of staying there any longer ... whomever gave that place a “very good” must have been payed by the owner (or the place had seen glorious days before). Sorry for such a bad review ... but there is no way to say something good about the place .. if it is closeness to metro line and the old center of Suzhou.
