Great hotel, horrible room
The hotel is great. It is old but and needs renovating but ambience, food, location, service are all top notch. The room we were given was 101, so called garden suite. The room was very old and smelled of mold. Our allergies flared up and we couldn’t sleep all night. There was no wi fi in the room. Bath drain was not working properly and it flooded while showering. The heat turned off at 9pm and it was cold during the night. This was a suite and the pricing was according to it status (actually quite expensive). We won’t stay in this room again even if they offer it for free. The hotel though; we might come back but make sure we don’t get this horrible room again.

This is a great hotel, near the beach and conveniently located. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Also super convenient if visiting ‘The Pig on the Beach’!

Perfect stay.took our great dane there for the weekend.very dog friendly and made to feel right at home.very large garden with loads of seating inside and out.breakfast was spot on.

Knoll House is like a weird time warp of a hotel. It’s very reminiscent of the 1950’s/1960’s vibe with a 1980’s interior so don’t stay if you looking for modern facilities. But it has a certain charm. The highlight has got to be the outdoor pool and the front lawn plus the setting on Studland. The food, cocktails and other features were not great tbh but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

Lovely character hotel. We unfortunately ended up in the garden room next to the carpark not the main house. Old feather bed cover and pillows quite scratchy I needed baby lotion at 2am in order to seal my skin and relax. Not a good night's sleep lovely food

We love coming to the Knoll House, it’s so quirky and relaxing with so much history attached to it, and the surrounding countryside is amazing plus we can bring our dog . Food good can’t wait to come back 👍🐾

Quaint with great service
The property is rather quaint, but the service is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Some areas are pretty dated, but it kind of adds to the charm of the place. An extremely good and friendly atmosphere with lots of repeat visitors. Short, easy walk to a lovely long beach.

A lovely place to stay
We had a very enjoyable time at Knoll House Hotel. The setting is beautiful, very close to Studland beach. Every member of staff was friendly, cheerful and very helpful.
