I like the quiet and cleanliness. Owners recommended a good local Mexican restaurant close by but there's also a rooftop restaurant in downtown that looked great. I usually pick a chain hotel but the reviews were great and I'm glad I took the chance. It's a bargain.

Even though this is an older property, the room was clean and accomodations were fine. They don't serve breakfast, but with the money we saved, compared to other hotels, we could dine out for breakfast.

The desk clerk was great and very personable. The room was comfortable but did smell a little musty at first. They offered continentalbreakfast but we only saw the same packaged danish both mornings we were there.

Make sure you have cash if you have pets!

The room I was in was pet friendly and flooring was LVP, which I appreciated. It was very clean but did have a slight dog smell (I had a cat staying with me). The microwave and mini-fridge was very old. These appliances need updating. Also, I was charged a $20 pet fee which had to be paid in cash as I had prepaid through Hotels.com. This was not mentioned on the Hotels.com website. It was fortunate that I had $20 in cash (which I seldom carry cash), otherwise, the manager told me the reservation would have been cancelled without a refund.

The room was clean but the tub did not drain so you stood in water while taking a shower. There was a huge crack in the sink. I had to wait while the gentleman at check-in finished what sounded like a personal phone call. Don’t expect a real breakfast. The breakfast was crackers, pre- wrapped honey buns, and granola bars. A family member will be visiting this area soon but I did not suggest this hotel.

Our stay was fine, the bed was comfortable, the noise level outside the room was not great, every time someone walked past the room or the door in other rooms closed we could hear it. It was good for one night on our way home from Florida.
