As a lone traveller I felt completely safe and my room was comfortable, spacious and also had table & chairs outside which was perfect for my morning cuppa! Breakfast was really nice too. Huge car park and the staff were so welcoming.

Fabulous room with great attention to detail. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant which was good and the breakfast that was included was great. Definitely stay their again if in the area

This was a budget stay on a trip back from airport. It was cheap and Ines expectations were limited. The disappointing thing is that it could so easily have been good but the general maintenance and cleanliness of the property is very poor. In the bedroom there was black spot mould on the en-suite ceiling; the shower door/ seal was mouldy; the shower control was very badly worn and hard to use; the toilet was dirty under the waterline and the mattress was beyond its best with springs very evident. The outside areas were at best grubby with rotten fencing and a feel of unkempt decline. Inside the pub it just felt grubby. A potentially very nice set up with very helpful staff is clearly badly managed and is lacking maintenance input from the owners.

Plenty of free parking .The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable . Plenty of tea and coffee , with the kettle. It was near a country park with a lake to the side of it . The food in the attached pub was lovely. Free breakfast and plenty of it. The best bit , that can make or break a stay The staff.All friendly and helpful. If we have to go back to Swindon it will be The Sun Inn we stay at .

Barry the landlord was very helpful and friendly. All the bar staff were friendly. The food was basic pub grub, but, very good. As a CAMRA member, I was pleased to see they offer the Camra discount. My room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included in the room price, and very enjoyable. I will certainly stay again when working in this area.

Stop over at Swindon
Arrived around 4:30 after going to the Shopping Outlet. Check in smooth and quick with good directions to room. Room very clean and comfortable with first class tea and coffee facilities. Great bathroom with super shower and extras. To top it off an amazing breakfast. For the price an excellent stay and will be staying again. Thanks

A very comfortable, peaceful nights sleep in a large bed in a spacious room. It had everything we needed. We had a warm welcome on arrival and the friendly manager presented us with a delicious breakfast. Thank you.

The room was close to a busy pub but it was quiet. Plentiful tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was very good. Staff were all pleasant. The room was good value but there were a few areas that needed attending to. Bed side was torn and a few areas in the bathroom needed a clean. Overall we were happy with our choice.

It was the 1st time we have stayed here and if we were taking this route again we would definitely stay here again. The room was pleasant and and clean witj a comfortable bed. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the breakfast which was included in the price was very good. no fruit or croissants etc, but traditional English. It was also convenient for the motorway. Only minor complaints the tiles in the shower the grout was mouldy., why is this such a common problem? The stairs to the room the handrail etc could do with a cost.of paint and the area outside the fencing to the restaurant was overgrown and needed attention. Hoe6, generally good and good value for money.
