My wife and daughter had their first trip to Sydney without me.
After an 8-hour train trip, they checked into the hotel and were looking forward to a nice shower.
The water was not working anywhere in the room, and an industrial fan was in the room, as though there had been a water leak fixed.
After telling the front desk the problem, they were told, that is OK, he will go collect the fan right now. My wife said what about the water?
So they went out to dinner without showering while the plumber fixed the water.
After dinner, the water had been fixed, but then someone from the hotel let themselves into the room without warning, and said they were checking the water was now working.
My wife and daughter felt unsafe for the rest of the stay, with my daughter begging my wife not to leave her sleeping in the room in the morning by herself whilst my wife got coffee.
