Firstly I'll mention the good things. The stars of the hotel are undoubtedly the staff. They were very helpful, friendly and professional at all times, responding quickly to any requests we made. We couldn't have wished for better service. The furnishings and fittings in the hotel are high quality but at the rate we paid this hotel is not good value for money. The room was small, cramped, long and narrow, very little floor space around the beds etc. The table by the sofa was basically wedged in by the bed, so close that my husband banged his head on the table getting out of bed. We've stayed in budget hotels in the UK at around £60 per night with two beds, but with far more floor space than this room at around £200 per night. In our view if you're going to offer rooms with two double beds and at these rates, you really need to provide larger rooms. A couple of points about the bathroom: No towel rail, nowhere to put our wet towels! Do those who designed this place not take showers and need to hang up their wet towels? Of course they do, but never thought to provide this basic facility in a "luxury" hotel. In our view two wash basins in what is a small bathroom are unnecessary and the space would have been better utilised by providing all elements needed in a bathroom. I wonder is the hotel aware that the door to the toilet is see through glass? Frosted but still see through. Not acceptable. Problems with WiFi on arrival, resolved by a member of staff. Won't stay again.

Clean, comfortable and trendy hotel. Nice staff. I had a relaxing stay. Lots going on in the bar downstairs and upstairs (stayed over the weekend), but the rooms were nice and quiet.

The hotel itself is nice, I would point out that there are a few things that made it a bit frustrating especially in terms of the ventilation from the bathrooms. The room service lady’s came super early each morning which was a bit frustrating, other than that I would stay again. It’s a great location and the hotel draws in nice people.

Great service!

We stayed at the Ace Hotel for two nights in Sydney. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants their own breakfast options are really convenient. The rooms are quite small for having two full beds. There really wasn't room for opening even a carry on. There might be other room configurations available but we had a tight space. With that said, their service is excellent. Really responsive!

Great hotel especially compared to some of the big brand hotels. Extremely comfortable beds. Breakfast is by order and not buffet style. At least with this it comes out hot. Staff pleasant enough but a little stand offish. Typical Sydney people in that regard. Overall I’d stay again based on the comfort of the beds
