The place stank, was not clean at all. The beds were very heavily stained with large patches of strange fluids . Looked like an homeless shelter though worse…. the bed covers were stained also.

Enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and spacious. The only downside was that the PowerPoints were not always easily accessible eg I had to move bed out to plug in my cpap machine and there wasn’t a power point above bench for jug. The service was friendly and I would definitely consider staying again. Very reasonable rates

Booked 2 rooms and both were highly perfumed with room freshener, why what smells are they trying to cover up. That is the only complaint, everything nice and clean, nice soft fluffy towels, comfy bed, friendly staff.

First of all after driving for hours to get to the motel my husband and i wanted coffee. We found the jug ok but the only powerpoint to plug it into was down beside the beds. The air conditioner didnt work properly, it was full of dust. Bathroom mirror was dirty. As soon as the shower was turned on the screens were instantly full of limescale. No foam underlay on the ironing board. Very limited channels on the tv. Not great for kids. Stairway and hallway were both dirty. There is a beautiful water fountain just outside the building however it was so dirty it was beyond green and almost black! How the fish are still alive i have no idea ! The room was way overpriced for what i got. Would not recommend. Very dissapointing.

Disappointed this stay. Stayed two nights in an apartment with a 9 mth old baby. Ants crawling everywhere in kitchen, lounge area. Woke up in one bedroom with ants on my face. Food crumbs on floor, in corners and under lounge. Kitchen sink had big blobs of fungus growing in around plug area. Second day woke up to no hot water. Called reception to be told it’s off until 11.30am. No notice. Called again early evening no answer so left message to say we still had no hot water. No reply before we checked out. Horrible uncomfortable stay this time.

We found hunts hotel online and booked the Executive Studio. Check in was easy. The foyer area was lovely and had a pleasant fragrant smell. Directions to the room were a little confusing but we found it. The entry way and hallway smelled a little of cigarette smoke. But the room itself was clean and tidy. We found that all staff were friendly and approachable. When we needed fresh towels etc they were always eager to assist. We also needed maintenance (nothing serious) and they were very responsive. More signage to help understand the laundry washers and dryers (ie which section to place soap, how long the loads take) would be helpful but google helped with some things. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we would book with Hunts Hotel again.
