Staff make the hotel a pleasure

Staff were amazing. Helped reserve an uber for me and also accommodated a room change when street noise was a bit much to the quieter side street. Beds were comfortable but doubles were a bit small for 2 people. Bathrooms could do with updating but I can’t fault staff for their friendliness and helpfulness they were really great . Location is great very close to main bits

An unexpected surprise when we arrived at the Sydney airport and immediately took the train to our hotel destination. Easy and close walk to hotel. Another surprise was the ship terminal was right across the street. A short walk later, the Sydney Opera House, shops and restaurants. Great location and convenient.

Happy with my stay, would stay again.

We were only on an overnight stop, hotel was ideal for our needs, great location, staff were friendly and efficient.. We were able to check in 2 hours early, which was really appreciated) Room was clean, air con hummed a little, but no big deal, view was fantastic, it suited our needs. I would stay here again for a short term stopover, longer I would want more facilities and I’d like the lobby bar open on Sunday ( which was my check in day), miserable weather outside, I’d not leave the hotel, I would have stayed and watched the football, but local venues are also close by, so it’s not a big issue.

Great location

Our stay was very comfortable. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and plenty of outlets and space. The hotel is showing its age. The bathroom could do with some attention with what looked like mold around the faucets in the bath and the shower over the bath. Carpets in the main lobby area are either very old or in need of a good cleaning. Staff were helpful and the included breakfast was a good option. Happy hour in the lobby bar was a nice event and the location, within easy walking distance of Circular Quay and The Rocks, was a key factor in our staying there.

I've stayed at this hotel roughly 12 years ago and it's fair to say that not much has changed between then and now. However, it is still a beautiful heritage-listed building, within close walking distace to Circular Quay and the Overseas Cruise Terminal. The room was well-suited for what we needed. The only disappointment for us was that our TV was not working.

Didn’t like first room given. It was level 6 but like 5.5, you had to go down some stairs and at the back. I’m on my own with a 22kg case, heavy handbag etc. probably could have bumped my case down the stairs BUT could never got them back up. Dismal room as well. Different to what Expedia had said. Room was changed to Level 2 and much better. My friend was a few doors down and was lucky enough to get a balcony. Bed was excellent, had a great 5hour sleep with no waking up in between. That is really good for me. Felt great when I woke up.
