It was below expectations. Intermittent noise made it hard to sleep well. The room had the appearance and feel of a run down place. The shower was dripping, adding to the noise issue.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to shops, restaurants and bars, the views from some of the rooms are fantastic especially those on the harbour side, rooms are plain but OK, my bathroom sink had a major crack in it that badly needs attention, how hard is it to replace a cracked sink, not very hard.

Comfortable well located accomodation.
Perfectly located for access to Kings Cross station. A comfortable hotel with comfortable beds, a nice view over the city of Sydney. It is not the most modern accomodation, but the easy access, and reasonably roomy room with a view are enough for a comfortable stay. We paid for the buffet breakfast and it was well worth it, with good choices.

Property is well maintained, we occupied a two bed room and each beds are a good size for two person. Good breakfast, a lot of selections and freshly cooked food. Loved their coffee bar. Definitely will recommend and go back to this hotel again! Keep it up Holiday Inn Potts Point staff and crew!

The perfect hotel if you want to get off a plane and catch a train to the front of the hotel, then this is it. Get off at Kings Cross…. Friendly staff at both reception and in the restaurant is the main reason for this positive review. The rooms, many with stunning Sydney city and Opera House views especially at sunset, are overdue for a refurbishment. However, despite this, the rooms are comfortable and have all you need. Sensible accommodation rates. Good restaurants. You can walk to the city and back - about 10,000 steps… we have used this hotel many times… recommended….

Holiday Inn Potts Point is the most perfect hotel in Sydney. The view of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House is lovely, access to transport, cafes and restaurants is excellent. The staff are always friendly.

This is undoubtedly the best value hotel in Sydney. The person on Reception was very helpful, the room was clean and big and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. We will definitely stay there next time we are in Sydney.
