Firstly we were put into Room 201 which was a disabled room which wasnt really a problem but we paid for a city view room. Shower curtain was very short hence water went all over the bathroom floor. Otherwise the room was very clean and bed & linen comfortable. No option for decaf coffee or tea and no milk option in room. Hotel was lovely, coffee shop very nice. Breakfast was good however basic breads available. Reception staff very helpful and courteous. Onsite underground parking was easily accessible and clean. We would stay there again as it was convenient to Olympic park for concert with a short cab ride.

Very convenient location, great for families with a large park and playground across the road and a Westfield 2 minutes walk away. We stayed for an event at Olympic Park and it was an easy 10 minute drive there. We had a minor issue with the room and the staff were very helpful and apologetic, and did everything they could to fix the issue as quickly as possible. Would definitely stay again.

The room with a “city view” that I paid extra floor was a complete scam. It was a balcony view to the slum backstreets of behind the property. Did in no way match the photos which I specifically chose this place over others for. The onyx restaurant food feel low quality for the inflated price. Bed sheets were not changed after I explicitly requested them to be changed, they only dressed the bed. We arrived Friday and saw used plates from room service outside other residents door that stayed there for 2 days with no hotel staff bothering to clean it even when mentioned it to reception. Staff just seems like they try to do as little as possible to get through their shift imo

Some of the reception staff are a bit vague. Didn’t provide me with the room I booked, cooked breakfast took a long time to come out. TV reception average, and screen definition really bad. Lights were too bright and poorly designed except bedside, Pool is heated but you aren’t told that.

We decided to spend a day shopping and dining in Burwood and booked our stay at this property again as we enjoyed our stay last time. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to our room and the room did not disappoint. Along with the larger room, there was also a large balcony. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy this trip due to the inclement weather. Our experience with checking in and out was excellent, both times with a lady called Worinka ( I hope I spelt the name right) , a great mix of friendliness and businesslike during our interactions.

Excellent value for Family of Five. The boys enjoyed the pool, even though the weather wasn’t amazing and the parents enjoyed a terrific dinner at Onyx grill. The location was handy, close to shops and park which satisfied everyone.
