I’ve stayed at Mosy before because it’s fun and hip. Day shift wasn’t very nice. Night shift was better. Had to pay for shuttle but we walked from the airport when we got there because the shuttle wasn’t available. So it was walking distance but had to pay for a shuttle. Kinda silly.

We stayed here recently between flights, and liked it so much that it is now one of our go-to choices when we have to spend a night in Sydney. We really like the ambience of the Moxy, the public areas are inviting and enjoyable to hang out in, the bar and dinner options are good. The rooms we've had have been great, nice and quiet with a lovely view and a comfortable bed ensuring a good night's sleep (not always a given with hotels). The only small quibble is that it would be nice to have access to streaming services on the TV without having to cast from our own devices - but that's a minor thing. Some of their package deals are excellent value - the free shuttle to the airport is fantastic, the valet parking efficient and the breakfast certainly sets you up for the day. Happy to recommend the Moxy and will stay again.

Know before you go: if you need to use the airport pick up and drop off service from Moxy, you MUST make reservations well in advance of your stay. Otherwise you will likely need to take a cab to/from airport, I was able to make the reservation for pickup but didn’t have time to do the return to airport drop off. I was forced to take a cab because there were too many people needing transport between 7:30 am to 8:30 am. And this was on a Sunday. I complained to staff and said they needed to add another transport van for these times but the business issue was lost on them.

A friendly and innovative hotel. Small, carefully furnished room to make the most of space. Delightful public area with great seating clusters and fun vibe. Very nice restaurant with interesting food offerings, freshly made at the open kitchen. Good bar too. Nice place to eat when traveling solo. Would highly recommend all the staff with whom I interacted.

I wasn't sure if the air con was broken or working in order in automatic mode. The room was a bit too hot because the temp didn't get lower than 26 after trying to adjust by turning on the fan. It seems it didn't work..

Everything was great! No ice bucket when I really needed some but otherwise excellent. Loved that I didn’t have to worry about transport to the airport with their free shuttle bus and the welcome drink was yum. Loved the trendy comfortable room, and the view was lovely.

Stayed overnight with a young family. Decor - definitely modern and hip Rooms were comfortable. Beds were large and comfortable. Paid for buffet breakfast at $25pp. It was the standard continental option - toast, cereal, eggs, sausages, hash brown. It was ok. Shuttle bus to property expensive at $12 pp. we took the taxi as it was late and raining. It is walkable from domestic terminal - walked back to T2 to catch our flight. Approx 20 min walk.
