The location is fantastic, very central. It's a few minutes walk from Central Station. With public transport so cheap, it's easy to get to the airport without the need for a taxi and at minimal cost. For its location, it was cheap to stay here. However I personally did not think it was the cleanest. The room was tired. There is no mirror unless you went into the bathroom, which could have had a much better designed shower. I thought the hotel reception staff were poor, except for the lady at check out. To be honest next time in Sydney I will look for somewhere else to stay even if its costs more.

This is the second time ive stayed here and Ive already booked again. Great position for restaurants,train,tram and shopping..Lovely breakfast. Room is spacious and comfortable. Staff a friendly and helpful.

We have stayed here for about 20 years through all the changes of ownership and management. We’ve really noticed the difference in this management - the quality is so much lower. No spoons in the room to stir a cup of tea, knocking on the door at 8.15 on a Saturday because the cleaner wanted to come and clean before we even got downstairs for breakfast and managers that would just stare at you

Well - Staff need to follow through on requests. The hand soap is very caustic - many of my friends who were staying here at the same time experienced the same. We approached reception & notified & requested some different soap perhaps the small bar versions. Left my number, etc - NOTHING! ALSO...... You were advertising all week $8 local & international Beers. However you were not passing this price on ! When told - played dumb. "Can't do anything about it " - you were replied to - "perhaps take down All the Posters advertising it" - just received a dumb expression back. Hospitality is exactly that - the care, concern, communication & service towards strangers paying to stay or those visiting! Outside around the property needs a fair bit of cleaning up. The Housekeeping staff were excellent - helpful & did an excellent job keeping the room clean.

This hotel is ok. There were no outlets by the bed. There was carpet in the room, which I think is gross to walk around on. The hallway felt like we were in a college dorm with ceiling tiles. The ramp to roll our suitcases into the lobby was hard to find (we never found it.)

Overall, it was great and very comfortable but there were no towel rails in the bathroom or a rail to hold to exit the bath safely (shower was in the bath). We also didn’t have a QR Code in our room for room service and the lock on the balcony door was broken. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean.
