Excellent short stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a good location, easy walk into the CBD and close to light rail options and a short walk to Central station. The hotel itself has a warm and inviting foyer with a restaurant onsite. The room we stayed in was clean and roomy. Overall, cant find a fault, check in was quick and simple, room was decent and hotel meet our needs in every way.

The hotel is wearing a bit and the bathroom is a shower of the bath. In a very very small bathroom. The staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms serviced beautifully every day. The bed very comfy.

This hotel was clean, with comfortable beds and modern decor. The only thing I would add would be a mirror in the main area. The balcony door was difficult to open, make sure you lift some weights before trying! They set up a cot in our room while we were out (by mistake) but we're quick to fix the error and apologetic. Overall, the location was great, hotel safe and the buffet breakfast a great option. Staff were super friendly. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Great location. So close to major attractions, shopping and dining. The hallways seem a bit outdated but the rooms are more updated. We received a room upgrade and some vip benefits which was a nice addition! Wiuld stay again for sure!

Good stay
It was a good stay walking distance to Darling Harbour and public transport. Very good service for buffet breakfast and reception. The only downside was ordering a toasted sandwich at about 11.20pm to be told 30 mins later that they were out. Funny that there was bread and ham at breakfast the next morning.

Hotel in a good location but fail to capitalize on
Hotel location is fantastic as it is close to eateries, Woolworth mart and beautiful Darling Harbour. DH is literally 800m away. It is also close to Broadway mall which houses many clothings brands as well as Coles, Aldi and K-mart. However rooms are dated and needs a complete sprucing up. The alleys leading to the rooms are like hostel style. For a prime location accomodation , costing AUD 200/night and managed by The Ascott, it should live up to the Ascott standard as well , don’t you agree?
