Just wanted a hotel near the airport because my flight was arriving late at night. The hotel is too far to walk to from the airport with luggage, they don't run a shuttle service. The cab drivers charge $30 for a 3 minute drive! Unfortunately I couldn't use Uber because I didn't have an Australian SIM card.

This is a perfect airport hotel. It’s a 5 minute uber from the international terminal, but it feels more like a nice downtown hotel than a typical place by the airport. The restaurant was great and reasonably priced. Also, since we had a full day in town before our night flight, this was a great place to store our luggage and walk 10 minutes to the train into town. I would definitely recommend it to travelers.

The hotel is conveniently located, for a short drive, and if one does not mind, walkable from the airport to the hotel. Every staff that helped me were nice. The hotel graciously stored a luggage when I traveled to Melbourne, only to pick up upon my return to Sydney. That saves me the trouble from bringing clothes that I won’t use in Melbourne. I am able to travel a bit light, which is a great help of the hotel.

I booked cos I thought it was walking distance to airport. $12 for the shuttle should be free. First shuttle didn’t go till 4.30 so didn’t work with our 6.15 departure as I am sure many others have been caught out

Convenient Location

The Novotel is a short trip to the T1 Terminal, either by foot or vehicle. If you take the Airport shuttle it is first drop off/last pick up, so no long rides before getting to the Novotel or Airport T1 terminal. Novotel offers all the usual amenities and is clean and comfotable.

Staff are great, very welcoming and helpful. Hotel close to airport so was easy commute. Very lean, comfortable bed. Blockout curtains were amazing, so was good to help catch up on much needed sleepp after a long flight.

There must be better airport options.

This hotel is near the airport and has a great lobby area. However, the rooms are so bare and incredibly outdated. Very little artwork on the walls, stains on the carpet and the bathroom honestly didn’t feel like it had been cleaned well enough. They also charge you $12 to take the shuttle to the airport. Feels like this should be included in the stay.

Ok hotel, terrible food

Hotel was decent although the flush in the toilet was not working well but do yourself. Favour and do not order room service. We had a grilled chicken burger and hamburger and they were the worst we ever had. The chicken was not touched by any spice (not even salt) and burger was so well done that only eatable part was bacon. Fries were ok.
