If I could give 10 stars for staff I would. I had to travel with my 2 kids while my husband was having surgery so needed something close to the hospital. There was an error with my booking however it was generously rectified. Facilities are excellent, really clean and food is delicious. The pool was a life saver for my autistic child for regulation. Highly recommend staying.

The staff were great! Very friendly and helpful. The downstairs bar/restaurant is so convenient and the food was delicious. I didn't use the pool area/bar (this seems more suitable for twenty-something year olds who are there to PARTY). A bit of a party house but it did NOT make my stay uncomfortable.The lift was not working (but staff did the heavy lifting). My room was dark and dingy and the bathroom, although clean, had septic smell. Bed comfortable and linen clean and crisp. (room needs more light). On a good bus route too.

I liked that it was an old building with new renovations. I like that they allowed us to change rooms when the ac unit leaked water. However in the first room there was a cockroach in it. Showers in both rooms leaked all over the floor and the door to the shower would push the rug when getting out of the shower, but overall it was a nice place to stay. Pool was gorgeous and quiet.

The property was well located to the allianz stadium, it took us about 7 mins to walk there which was awesome. Just down Oxford road is a plethora of restaurants. We also walked from the hotel to the Opera House stopping at the Anzac Memorial. The rooms all have queen beds, small bathroom with shower. There are the basic coffee, tee, Nespresso, small fridge. I loved that the room was not cluttered with furniture which was not needed. We didn’t take advantage of the pool restaurant/bar as I was travelling with a minor. I absolutely loved the hotel and the staff were amazing.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like about Oxford House. Everything was really good. I loved the decor and colours of my room, textures were superb. Beautiful pool and dining area. CJ and the other staff we absolutely fantastic very welcoming! Highly rated. The room was absolutely fine, small but that was all that was needed. The bed was very comfortable. The only thing I would say is the music from the closed pool bar was loud and not needed as there was no one there as closed. It was loud until 9.30pm and then music came on at about 8am. I could hear through my window. I would also say the smell from the kitchens was quite intense down the hallway but wasn’t in my room. But 10/10 for staff

Convenient location and the room was modern and clean however the tv remote did not work and the room is very hot (has a split aircon in the room but it wasn’t very effective). The staff were friendly and helpful but the desk isn’t manned consistently. There is an unpleasant smell that permeates the floor and room from the kitchen which I think is coming from the grease trap in the hotel kitchen. It is made worse because the hotel corridor and room is very hot.
