Location was great & room was ok.Shocked at the staff & service standards.I was not accorded the VIP check in, they appeared surprised when I asked to check in, was told breakfast wasn’t included so missed breakfast for 2 days & Concierge was too busy chitchatting to assist with my 27&7kg luggage. Evening of 26/12 called reception to advise that I have the Expedia booking open which shows breakfast is included.Again I was told that it is not.So I asked do you want me to come down with my iPad to show you, he said yes, this was at 10pm.So I went down & initially he said it’s not in their system but then he checked Expedia & said it was & told me he had updated it.Why did he not check the Expedia when I called?When I went to breakfast the next day & again they told me breakfast is not included etc. Breakfast was at 7-10.30am yet I was refused omelette. When I queried I was told station closes at 10.15am.I reminded her about the breakfast times & looked at my watch & said it’s 10.14am.She pulled out her phone & said it’s 10.16.Yet they continued to take & bring out omelette orders after this exchange while I watched.Restaurant staff was extremely rude, grumpy, unprofessional & disrespectful.Overall not a pleasant experience & recommend every single staff member undertake basic training in hospitality.I have travelled quite extensively for work & pleasure & this was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had.I realised albeit late why staff weren’t featured in reviews.
