Check in was seamless,,however, when we got to the room and unpacked, we noticed we were in a handicapped room, no tub, just a room with a shower curtain. We ask to be moved , but nothing was readily available. They were going to move us the next day, but at this point we decided to tough it out. Wer bathroom floor and all. I feel we should have been given the option upon checkin. Next morning, all i wanted was coffee. When it finally arrived, it was luke warm when ask, I told the service/hostess. No attempt was made to make it right. I am a Hilton Diamond member and was decided to give Marriott a try. I was not impressed, but the staff was very nice and helpful.

The absolute best
Landed in Sydney after a very long cruise from San Francisco, California. Booked the Marriott circular quay on a recommendation of an Australian friend. Cannot say how right he was. Everything was perfect. Very convenient to all the public transportation, nightlife, and activities in and surrounding areas.

We had a Sydney Harbour Bridge view that is that was bucketlist worthy. The hotel is conveniently located. The staff were as professional, welcoming & helpful as you would expect from a five star hotel. The buffet breakfast had a nice variety of options.

Good room, excellent staff. Good location. Hot water pressure very low and water temperature very low. We had a mobility assist room so maybe that was the cause. But since the tap is continuous variable from cold to hot it would seem like excessive caution if the reason for low pressure on the hot water. Plenty of pressure on cold so it totally negates any hot water.

A room without a view.
The check in was amazing. Staff were great and upgraded us to a higher floor and with a ‘view’ when we got to our room. The window view was of city with lots of works happened. I think we assumed we would have a harbour view based on what reception said. Generally hotel is fine. Rooms are dated. But serviced its purpose. We picked hotel for location

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in very basic no luxury at all definitely a two star or below and staff lack customer service Would definitely not recommend to anyone a really disappointing stay after coming off a luxury cruise ship were service is above and beyond On checking in told they had kindly up graded us well I would of hated to have seen the room we should of had as this was awful and after going back to reception I could pay to upgrade to a better one and also told wrong information about room when first check in all lies about the upgraded room and a jobsworth of a person definitely working in the wrong job with zero customer service skills who wouldn’t last five minutes in another hotel
