We had a great stay. The only disappointing thing was when waiting in the guess lounge for our room to be ready, there was no hot water available to make coffee or tea.

Hair left behind in the shower and food stains on the table didn't give a good first impression. they did come and clean it after I called but it took 40 minutes including a supervisor's visit who seemed to make sure I wasn't lying. The pool is small and not really nice, the bed was not properly tucked in and our feet touched the underlay. Best thing by far was the breakfast buffet which was amazing and catered to all needs and more. All and all though, I wouldn't go back.

Excellent accommodations...great room, bed, location, view of Opera House (paid for upgrade when checking in...good salesperson at front desk). Only negative was over-priced average restaurant in lobby, but only made that mistake once...plenty of other dining options within walking distance.

Staff were excellent no dramas there, but for $1400 for 2 nights stay was definitely not worth it, toilet didn't flush properly the tv reception was bad and only had normal channels and to charge people $8 to bring food up is ridiculous considering what we payed to stay there, the rooms are outdated and i felt like i payed for a view, ive stayed in better hotels for a quarter of that price as i do travel alot, very disappointed

Celebrating a Special Birthday really well
We booked as a part of my 80th birthday celebration. I phoned a few days before our arrival and asked the Desk if, in view of this, we could get a room with some view other than brick walls. On arrival: fast check in, and our room was on level 20 with a full view of the Quay and Harbour Bridge. MAGIC!! And, to add to the special feeling we had a plate of special chocolates, macaroons and a happy Birthday card!! It was great to think such a big hotel can make guests feel special and valued. We will highly recommend your hotel to family and friends!!! THANK YOU
