I booked a room with a shared washroom, as it fit my budget best. The washrooms were a bit far from my room (room 2), so I was fortunate I didn’t need them overnight. I liked that there was an enclosed bathroom within the shared washroom area, it was private and clean. I would recommend the property install bulk toiletries in the washroom though, as individual toiletries in there (especially soap for handwashing) didn’t make as much sense. I also think some paper towel for handwashing would be good, as I think many people would be like myself and forget to bring a towel when just going to the toilet. My room itself was comfortable. I did notice the wall next to the bed was dirty, which was a bit off putting. I also wish there had been a mirror in the room for getting ready, especially as I was in a room with no washroom. More outlets would also be good.

Surprised!
The pub was brightly lit and looked very inviting inside. Our room was sparkling clean and quiet. The bathroom was a shared one with a private room in there as well and was very clean and inviting which is pretty rare in shared stuff. There is n lift to the accommodation but the staff are always offering to carry your luggage up or down the staircase. If im flying anywhere from Sydney or flying in I'll be staying there as its nearby to the airport. I think you can even park out the back as there were cars there in the early morning.

A big surprise.
This wss a big surprise. We had a very welcoming staff member who was very helpful. There are stairs to the rooms but the staff member took our luggage upstairs for us. The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Although the bathroom was a shared one it was spotlessly clean and easy to use with plenty of soap etc. The room was quiet as well.

Very nicely renovated comfortable beds and friendly helpful staff. I didnt realise when i booked that the room had no ensuite but the shared bathroom was squeeky clean and new. A mirror in the bedroom would have been ideal. Couldnt find a hair dryer but i may have missed it . Nice to have access to complementary fresh fruit, good coffee. Over all good value for money

After a long flight
An old style hotel facade but recently nicely renovated bar and accommodation. Room was.spacious with.enssuite bathroom and separate communal coffee making. All rooms are upstairs without lift however manual assistance was offered and ground floor store for heavy bags was available. Full downstairs Bar and pub bistro offered full variety. We met.2 Night bar staff and a morning team member, EVERYONE gave a friendly welcome or farewell and every.assistance. A bit of constant highway noise but being. constant put it into the background and we did have a highway balcony suite Good price and great access to the airport provided your taxi doesn't take the scenic route.

Bloody cracker of a place, that surprised me in presentation, affable and professional staff and close enough to the airport to be just a short taxi ride the next morning. I didnt mind the walk from the train station with our bags, but it could be a bit much for some, being uphill for a few blocks. But hey, on holidays you walk, so i was fine with it.

They were very friendly and courteous at check-in and showed me to my room. They gave me a complimentary drink on arrival plus another free drink voucher. They have a full bar which also serves a full food menu. Very good burger and fries. It's a shared bathroom but they have a shower with a lock.

This is truly a hidden gem. I want to return to visit Sydney so I can stay here again! Super clean, very swanky and fun rooms, and it’s so fun having a bar downstairs - but still having peace and quiet in the rooms! Staff are lovely and welcoming/helpful. 10/10 recommend.

The Tempe Hotel is undergoing work to improve its appearance and facilities. The staff work well to ease the guest through the changes. When the work is completed, it will be a first rate boutique stay, fairly close to the Airports.
