Great except the breakfast which was a 5/10, and the unexpected increase cost of Wilson carpark. Even the hotel was not informed (can’t blame them). But the lovely manager (Valentine?) was responsive and offered a solution. Thank you, we’ll be back.

We enjoyed our stay at The Russell. The staff were friendly and helpful and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. Perfectly located to enjoy everything The Rocks has to offer including Vivid, we had lots to do and see within in a short stroll. Returning to the hotel we loved the live music in the small pub and it was the only place open until 12pm on the street. Our room was perfect, although no air conditioner, a ceiling fan and a heater was the only option, but it added to the antique charm. Breakfast is included and although limited, it had our favourite options on the menu. We would definitely stay there again, loved it!

Romance in the Rocks

The Russell is a quaint hotel befitting the Rocks. We had a lovely room that opened on to an enclosed courtyard. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The discount at the Fortune of War bistro was welcome. It is an easy walk from the car park. If you like antique Cedar furniture you will be very happy here.
