Best part of the stay is definitely all of the staff who worked there. Very friendly reception and were always available and really kind! Giving it 3 stars because the property was pretty old and their free breakfast wasn't the best. Their coffee machine didn't work the day we were there. Their gym equipments were rusty. Their staff and customer service are what really made our stay good!

Staff was nice and assisting, breakfast was good. Property is dilapidated, dirty and old. Years of poor upkeep and maintenance clearly visible. Very noisy, pets barking. Our room was renovated but very clear that is was dine by a non professional, plaster wasnt even sanded before paint was applied. Ceiling tiles falling down. Whole hotel smells like stale smoke and mold. Gym equipment was rusted out, pool was nice but dated and all repairs were clearly done by non professional again.

A decent place to stay in Sydney, the rooms are clean the bed is comfy. The decor is definitely dated in particular the walls and floors are showing their age. But for a hotel in this price range it's good place to stay. Hot breakfast included and it was good!

It was a simple little stop for a night. Decent price but definitely unkept. So much needs replacing and I was thankful the bed was clean and fresh. But everything else was dirty. Bathtub didn't have a filter for the drain so it was just a gaping hole where you could see down into the pipe. Didn't feel comfortable touching many surfaces. But staff was very very friendly and it was good enough for our one night in Sydney after the boat ride and before we headed too Halifax

We’ve stayed at several hotels in Sydney including the travel lodge. This most recent stay the staff informed us after check in that they changed the pet fee price to 45 dollars from 20 dollars. She stated it’s been changed for a year …. That was a flat out lie. We’ve stayed numerous times just a couple months before at half that rate…. so these people now running this hotel are literally just making up prices as they go and gouging people. Half the gym is closed and covered in dust The pool area is absolutely disgusting and filthy. There breakfast should not be fed to any living organism on earth.

Overall the stay was good. however we did report on the Monday that the toilet was not working properly. The flange was not allowing the tank to refill. This was still an issue on checkout as it appears it was not attended to

Staff is terrific. Property is worn and not particularly clean. Bed was comfortable and property was quiet overnight. With the great location (right on the water) it would be worth investing in some updating.
