Mostly excellent. Small things were bothersome: bathroom door with a wide gap when closed so people in room can see into shower, no fan in the bathroom, a few switches faulty, servicing of room didn't replace coffee pods, the coffee pod machine - I personally hate this coffee and would just prefer quality instant over a pod, pool barely heated. Overall though it was pleasant. The surrounding street either side of hotel was a bit grotty.

A room is cosy for my solo trip, however i hope the hotel can keep some hidden spot; underneath of a sink, coffee area, less dusty I count use a hair dryer cause its so dusty like no one touching it for so long. Also, can we have some bathrooms essential like; hair shower cover.. so its more love and care with a guest. When i am checking out, no one in a reception asking me how was my stay. Haha we can do it better with a hospitality right. The hotel make me feel unsafe when everyone next door open / close a door, a noise make me feel someone try to open my room door. Anyway i am enjoying Sydney. Thank u

Overall excellent. Almost everything about this hotel is excellent. To start, the location is almost perfect, smack in the center between Darling Harbor, QVB, and Chinatown. The rooms are sufficiently clean, the layout is comprehensive, but most importantly, there are USB and wall plugs everywhere. Lighting is very well designed, and the bathroom lighting can be switched to be used as a nightlight. This level of attention to detail is what makes the room excellent. The hotel common areas are generally clean, and spacious. The rooftop pool is small but novel, and sunsets are nice from there. There are two minor negatives to mention, one being that the rooftop bar is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays, and not open late enough for guests on the remaining days, the second being that the dropoff situation outside the hotel is very messy. There is no dedicated open space for dropping off on Sussex, and the front of the hotel is often parked full of cars. Neither of these are major issues that will affect the stay, but they are things to note for anyone arriving with different expectations

It was a girl's weekend & this hotel seemed fun and different so we booked & requested two beds and I rang to check this was possible as well. Was told that there were rooms with 2 beds; sadly the room we had was extremely small with 2 single beds. We didn't mind the single beds but there was no room to put our luggage & you had to walk sideways when trying to hang up clothes in the robe. Also to make it worse it was a room with a connected door to another room and we were kept awake by the guests in that room till early hours of the morning It was disappointing to say the least. Not worth the money. I have stayed in many hotels and 2 beds in a room is usually a double & single or 2 doubles etc, with room to move. If they can't accommodate these requests they should be upfront. There was literally no room to move comfortably. I was going to speak to the manager to let her know but she was not interested in acknowledging guests even when she sat at the front counter. I think there are better options.

Extra cash for early check-in Disappointing
The only disappointing part of my stay was the fact that our room was available at 11am however we were not able to check in early unless we paid an additional $55. This left a bitter taste which generally soured the whole Vibe of the hotel.

The property is nice from the street. Service is friendly and accomodating. Just some things i found a bit disappointing. 1. Towels felt rough and thin, i know this isnt a 5 star hotel but a level up in quality wouldnt hurt. 2. The bed was truly disappointing. It felt like something from my grandmothers spare room. 3. Service in the rooftop bar could be more efficient. 25 minutes for a drink when the staff are standing around talking is unacceptable. It’d be good if there were better non alcoholic options as well. 4. No one asked how our stay was upon checking out.
