We enjoyed the view and access to transportation and shopping. We did not however like the glass panel on the bathroom wall which could be covered with a blind. With the blind down during the night, the room lit up when somebody went into the bathroom and turned on the light. A very unusual and unwelcome feature. The gal at the front desk when we checked in was not all that friendly or approachable.

Amazing Harbour Views
We had a harbour view king room, the view of the Sydney Harbour was amazing; it looked like a post card whenever we looked out of the window. The Jacaranda trees were in bloom which added to the beauty. Only downside was that the train runs under the hotel although the rumbling did not disturb us. On the plus side, the train station was steps away from the hotel. Regarding the hotel itself, the placement of hand wash and body lotion pumps was very awkward requiring you to lean across the toilet to access them. The carpet in the hallway leading to the Blue Street door is worn and grimy but otherwise the hotel appears in good shape. The Reception staff was very helpful and responsive to all of our questions and requests. Would recommend this hotel as a reasonably priced hotel nearby Sydney. Public transportation is easy to use to get back and forth from the downtown core.

I had an incredible view of Harbour Bridge from my room on the 8th floor and it was a walkable distance to the ferry and to the local supermarket. There was a lot of noise however as the train passes by but this didn’t disturb my stay. Overall I am happy and will stay here again!

The view of the harbour bridge and beyond was amazing! We could hear the trains slightly and being on the top floor, also had noise from the air con units on the roof. Good selection at breakfast.

Nice property. I was ln the first floor and a great view of the bridge. Bed was firm and the pillows too which I like. I did not eat at the hotel so I have no opinions on the food it did smell good. The train station was a block away. However the train runs under the hotel every 6 minutes in both directions. So if you are a light sleeper probably not the place for you. One guy opinion
