If you are looking for a hotel which is both well-located and well-run and well-priced, look no further. The hotel is situated opposite the exit of the train station (and close to the bus stops) and about a 20 minute walk through the town centre to the island of Ortigia. The staff are friendly and accommodating, storing luggage and offering a complimentary coffee. The first floor single room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed and an efficient shower in the bathroom. By Italian standards, the breakfast choice was good and plentiful and a bar is available. All in all, a pleasant stay in a small hotel.

Hotel in Syracuse
Small hotel right by station. Fairly basic but clean, staff were very helpful and a 30 minute walk to Ortigia. Parking was free and easy opposite hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice lobby, complete with coffee bar. Classic Italian prima colazione served every morning. Be aware that as it is directly across from the train station, there will be plenry of traffic noise at night.

Great place to stay when traveling by train!
Excellent hotel for a trip to Syracuse. The hotel is across the street from the train station and a short walk to many great restaurants and tourist sites. Very friendly staff and a very nice breakfast.

Conveniently located for transport - right opposite the train station and a 1min walk from the bus station. Quite a bit of walk to the historical part of Ortigia though. Hotel quite simple and showing some aging signs, but covers the basics. I'd like to see that mastermind who put bidet 20cm in front of toilet.. Automated communication not fully sorted out - message received noted only very limited hours but the reception currently worked 8am to 9pm. I wouldn't bother with the breakfast - it's a coffee, a (half-baked) croissant and some packaged biscuits - not unusual in Italy but unlikely to keep you going if you're from abroad. Overall it's an ok option for a short stay if you don't mind being a bit further from the main tourist places.
