Extremely disappointed
I was extremely disappointed. The room smelled terribly musty. I actually bought air freshener. I was on an end room next ti the stairwell, people were going up and down the stairs all night the door slammed each time. (No elevator) Breakfast was advertised but it was a wrapped donut and nothing else. Noone was at the desk at checkout just a sign that asked to leave key on the desk. The vending machine was out of everything except the $3 bottle of water. I will never stay at this location again.

So when we pulled up to this Super 8 we were surprised as it wasn't the one we thought we booked. The first thing we noticed were the dirty windows and ripped screens. there were detergent bottles in windows making us think that perhaps some residents lived there full time. We were greeted by a disheveled front desk employee. I immediately asked if people lived in some rooms. He assured me they did not. Our room was fairly clean but the wall in the bathroom was filthy. I gave this hotel a 2 star because the beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean. Since we were only there to sleep, we decided we would stay as we couldn't afford to eat the cost. We went to sleep that night but since we were the first room beside the lobby, we found it extremely noisy. People were coming and going all night and screaming down the hallways. I was awakened in the night by screaming and yelling in a different language. I soon realized it was the employee on the nightshift at the front desk watching a movie in a foreign language. It finally quieted down around 4:30 am. The next morning I came out to talk to the front desk employee about the loud movie the night before. He barely spoke english and had a hard time understanding me. My booking said breakfast was included. All there was was coffee, water for tea that was luke warm and a couple of jugs of juice and some honey buns. Yuck! The lobby constantly smelled of marijuana. Do not book this hotel.

Even if the hotel was at an affordable price, you would expect more from a super 8. Realllly bad cigarette smell in the room. Ceiling splashed with red ish stains, very warm temperature. Breakfast included ? Common, it was literally a loaf of bread and a pot of coffee.

Could have been worse!
This hotel looks fine, the staff seemed decent, but the condition & maintenance of the facilities was clearly lacking. From a broken safety lock, to a half missing bathroom door handle things seemed off from the get go. The water pressure was barely adequate but at least it stayed hot. It was evident to me that the rooms are very quickly cleaned by the dust & hair behind and under things. If the room had cost any more than the 100 or so a night I paid I would have been livid, but it worked out fine. Stay here if you just need a place to crash, but don’t expect more.
