Dumpy.
The hotel is not very nice. You can see they are making updates but it’s not enough to mask the old, dumpy building. You can see the shower sound is new but the bathroom overall still seems dated. The sheets are new, but the pillows were old and lumpy. The flooring in the room looks new, but the carpet in the hall is very old. The place needs a hood cleaning. We went to target and bought cleaning products to clean ourselves. The staff need uniforms or some way to identify they are working for the hotel.

The room was very large, we had a King bed and a double. Plus a roll a way cot, and had mor then enough room to move. The hotel is under renovations which fine, other then the very loud workers at 9am on a Sunday. We did not have any advance notification that there would be work that early. There is a Pizza Hut across the street, and a dollar tree. A Walgreens and dollar general all with in walking distance. Was about a 15 min drive to the fair grounds, but you would need a car to get around.

There was no choice of breakfast and had to beg to get a choice of small muffin or yogurt ,that was the extent of breakfast!! Would give us nothing when he checked his watch at 9 and you got no more!!

This facility is advertised as "breakfast included". This "breakfast" consisted of glazed donoughts, orange juice and coffee so horrible that I couldn't go beyond first sip. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

I was there just for one night, and that was enough. I was concerned about the noise when I first arrived, but it did quiet down rather quickly as the evening progressed. I was able to sleep well, despite the faint leftover smoke-smell on the pillow. (No smoking in the room so I’m not sure where that came from?) There were spots on the faucet in the bathroom so I questioned if/ how thoroughly it was cleaned. I had specifically chosen this property because it had “breakfast “ and I knew I needed to be on the road early. Well, breakfast was a cinnamon bun, juice & coffee. At that point I just wanted coffee, but they didn’t have decaf Overall , I would not recommend this property. N
